He is now under a discographic contract with the Spanish label KNS for a CD including original and non-original compositions. After some years of career as a concert pianist, he started to undertake the composer’s path as the main profession, debuting as a composer, performer, and improviser in 2016 at Trimontiada Radio Festival in Bulgaria. From 2019 to 2021 he curated several times the spatialization and sound diffusion for EAR festival (Electro Acoustic Room) in Lugano, and his compositions OSuite (cello and live electronics) and A (violin and live electronics) were premiered in the same series in 2021 and 2022. Sound art covers a relevant role in Nevari’s work: in 2021 he created Studio sulla Persistenza del Mare, a four-channel sound installation commissioned by Marina Militare (Italian Navy), which had been built into Santa Barbara’s Dome on Tino Island (La Spezia, Italy) and was open to the public from 3rd of July 2021 until December 2021. In September 2021 he cooperated with OSI (Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana) and Locarno’s CISA Film Academy to create Il Quarto Paesaggio – I Luoghi delle Interferenze, an audio- video installation premiered at Lugano’s LAC on 28th of September. During November and December 2022, he was promoted by Pro Helvetia to undertake a research trip to Nepal on the topic Das Glasperlenspiel and the Buddhist concept of non-linear time in music, investigating the time-space relation in Buddhist culture as the concept underpinning Hermann Hesse’s homonymous book. In 2023 he created Lympha: A Cathartic Ritual in a Fluid Space, an experimental performance for voice, water, and electronics, which involved the singer Margherita Scaramuzzino as soloist.
